Judgement Night

Every year, Higher Ground Baptist Church puts on a walk-through drama called Judgement Night. It is made to be an alternative for haunted houses around Halloween season. Judgement Night is aimed in the hopes that the visitors leave changed from when they came in. This year's drama presented a college freshman struggling with the title of "loser" that he received in high school. He cannot escape this title in college as he had hoped, and ends up taking the lives of those who hurt him. The drama presents the importance of accepting Christ as your Savior before it is too late. I was very grateful to be a part of the drama this year. I assisted with set up/ tear down of the props and scenes, acted as background extras in some scenes, and walked/ prayed with groups as they went through the drama. This totaled 8 hours over the period of October 27-28. I was grateful to be a part of such a successful event, which resulted in 108 people accepting Christ into their hearts over a 4-day event.
