St. Jude Benefit

On September 9th, there was a St. Jude Benefit called "Sushi at Sunset" at Chateau Selah that gave all of its proceeds to St. Jude research. My bluegrass band was invited to play at this event to help raise money for this cause. We played music and helped serve the guests for 3 hours that night. In total, $31,514.89 was raised to go towards St. Jude. It was a blessing to be able to have a small contribution in this event in order to help patients at St. Jude's Children Hospital. We received no compensation for this event, which we were happy to help with freely. It was an amazing event at which people came for the sole purpose of donating and supporting St. Jude research.
